On June 27, 2019, this year’s key enabling technologies brokerage event will take place in Strasbourg, France. Registration is open now until 21. June.

The aim of this cooperation exchange is to present the themes of 2020 work programs in the field of nanotechnology, new materials, biotechnology and production (NMBP) of the European Union, and in the framework program for research and innovation “Horizon Europe” (2021-2028) as well as enable participants for future cooperation.
The corresponding calls can be found on the Participant Portal of the EU Commission.
Key enabling technologies (KETs) are multidisciplinary knowledge and capital intensive technologies, with applications in different sectors and with high economic potential. Key technologies include micro and nanoelectronics, photonics, nanotechnologies, industrial biotechnology, advanced materials and advanced manufacturing systems.
The event focuses on the following topics:
– Nanotechnologies and new materials
– Industrial biotechnology
– Advanced manufacturing systems
– Energy efficient buildings (PPP EeB)
– “Factories of the Future” (PPP FoF)
– Sustainable industrial processes (PPP SPIRE)
– Open Innovation Test Beds (OITB)Participants have the opportunity to present their own project concepts and to interact with representatives of companies, universities, universities and research institutions in arranged, bilateral talks. This will pave the way for future collaborations and European projects, including themes for 2021-2028.
Activities are accompanied by the National Contact Points and representatives of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN).
