The INTERREG V consortia NANOTRANSMED and SPIRITS, ECPM School and BioValley France organize the first edition of the Upper Rhine Health Tech Innovation Forum. This trinational event (France, Germany, Switzerland) will gather international players around TechMed, BioTech and Diagnostic May 15th and 16th 2019 in ECPM – Strasbourg.

Why participate?

  • To network and generate new partnerships
  • To gain visibility and notoriety behind trinational players
  • To discover Interreg projects: Nanotransmed and SPRITS – on the topics of nanomedicine, diagnosis, imaging and robotics
  • To get a better understanding of European funding mecanisms
  • To meet different Grand Est Innovation players: Grand E-nov, BioValley France, SEMIA, SATT Conectus, Fablab and the Service de Valorisation de l’Université de Strasbourg

Wednesday, May 15 –  Intended to industrials, researchers and students (amphitheater Fermi ECPM):

  • 10:00 – 10:40  Opening speeches (Université de Strasbourg, Région Grand Est, Interreg, ECPM)
  • 10:40 – 11:00  Open Innovation presentation by an industrial
  • 11:00 – 11:45  Health startups feedbacks: from research to business creation
  • 11:45 – 12:30  Plenary conferences – Researcher’s work presentation on Health Topics
    • P. Lavalle: « Hospital Infections: Innovative Biomaterials to Prevent Nosocomial Diseases »
    • A. Wagner: « Single-cell proteomic: from a MEDALIS research project to a startup company »
    • E. Davioud-Charvet 
  • 12:30 – 14:00  Lunch
  • 14:00 – 15:15  Grand Est Innovation agencies presentations (BioValley France, Grand E-nov, SEMIA, SATT CONECTUS, FabLab, Service de Valorisation de l’Unistra) and BtoB stands
  • 15:15 – 17:15  Speed dating: one to one meetings between researchers, clinicians and health companies

Thursday, May 16 – Trinational day focused on nanomedicine, materials, imaging and robotics (amphitheater Fermi ECPM): 

  • 10:00 – 11:00  Plenary conferences – Upper Rhine KOL: innovative research on the topics of nanomedicine, diagnosis, imaging and robotics
    • Prof. Dr. K. Möller, Director of the Institute of Technical Medicine (ITeM), Furtwangen University: Boosting Innovation in Health Technology. – The CoHMed (Connected Health in Medical Mountains) Approach –
    • J.C. Robinson and F. Megerlin: « Supporting the innovation ecosystem through policy and management: experience at the University of California Berkeley »
  • 11:00 – 11:30  Interreg projects presentation – NANOTRANSMED and SPIRITS: results, project’s poursuit and skills needed
  • 11:30 – 12:30  Upper Rhine Health expert’s presentation
To intensify the networking, 10 attendees will have the possibility to present their company or research group in a 5 minutes presentation. A selection will be made by the organisers.
